 First, I want to begin by thanking you for the urgency, clarity, and comprehensiveness with which you communicated with me. I was very moved by it and have already met with and mobilized a diocesan team to begin the process you have recommended. 

Second, I will be sending an email with more details and action items next week. I am sorry that I am unable to do so now, but Katherine just returned late last night from two weeks of visiting her family in [redacted location] (which meant I was running the household and trying to serve the diocese), and I leave for a weekend ministry trip tomorrow morning. 

Joanna, thank you for your email of today. It will be helpful to share your email with a few leaders, and we will certainly exercise the necessary discretion. 

Finally, I would appreciate an opportunity to speak with you all via Zoom in the near future as we work out our next steps.  Would be open to that?
