Mark Rivera’s Trial

On Tuesday, July 12, Mark Rivera is scheduled to stand trial for sexual assault of a victim under 13 years of age. The trial is scheduled to start at 9 am at the Kane County Judicial Center in Illinois.

Rivera was first arrested in 2019 for 9 counts of felony predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 13 years of age. 10 survivors have come forward with allegations of abuse by Rivera since 2019, with allegations including rape, assault, child sexual abuse, and grooming.

ACNAtoo stands in solidarity with the courageous young girl who first reported Rivera’s abuse. Our prayers are with her as she enters the courtroom to face her abuser.
Messages of support may be sent to info@acnatoo.org and we will pass them along to the survivors.
